Love Aint Enough

What do you do when love just aint enough?

When you too tied to your past and dysfunctional muck?

The tears flow and you smile in public so that no one knows.

That you are dying inside, eventually you wont be able to hide the fact that your heart sits in pieces in your chest

Just know you tried your best

But, loving someone who is having a hard time loving theyself is a battle all by it self

Sometimes love just aint enough

When you keep talking TO each other, but aint really talking TO each other

When you need each other, but cant really feed each other because your broken parts just dont match

We all want someone to love us through the pain, but how much can they take before it drives them insane and they are back to being

broken again

Because they wanted to be in this battle..they saw your pain and was willing to go round after round time and time again..but

YOU..YOU werent ready

They could see the good in you, but you kept reacting off what you knew from relationships past

But, your past took over your present and ultimately fucked up your future

Now aint that some shit

No matter how hard they love you, nobody is going to continue to be a mental patient just for you to get the medicine you need to be

whole person again

You are loving from an empty place

I can tell from your face that love just aint gone be enough

And it makes me sad..that you are about to lose the best thing you ever had

Because you werent able to be fully in love until you lost it

Now..aint that some shit

Love just aint enough when there aint no trust

Leave if you must, but leave the door open to go back

True love works like that

Take some time to heal yourself, unpack all your relationship mess

Be real with your self about why you sabotaged yourself

Find out why your actions made your heart stealth

Fix yourself, but you in your current heart state will damage your mate and leave you by yourself..time and time again

Become your own best friend and learn to live by the golden rule..if you dont want it done to you .dont do it to them

And most of all..learn to actively listen..most people speak from the heart

But, you dont hear it because you are thinking about your part

Love can only take you so far..before its done from afar

Love takes work

Actions speak louder than words

Listen to understand and not to respond

Because most times love..just aint enough.. But, its a must for your happily ever after
